But a short update here. The holidays are around the corner and life has switched lanes again. We are full throttle in the fast lane. Since I have no home of my own and am planning a wedding, I am not in charge of throwing any parties this year ... which is a nice break. But I am hoping to get invited to a few... hint hint.
Peter and I have so many great friends that I am feeling a bit overwhelmed and underprivileged how rare time with them is. I would like to say that they are all on a calendar and when their name pops up... we spend time with them. but that is so static and unrealistic that we will probably continue to feel like we are ignoring people and too busy. But I received an email today from a friend and loved her signature line's quote:
'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a ride!!'

We had a blast at Hallapolooza with my sister's family and Sophia and Caleb really looked like professional clowns... I am always so impressed with my sister.
