Meet Pegasus!!!

This is an exciting time in the Plott Family. Not only are we going to have a wedding in 8 days... but there is a new baby on the farm.... Meet Pegasus! (Gus)

Our new bundle of lanky legs came to us early Tuesday morning. Britton announced his barn name as Pegasus ... gus for short.... and the verdict is still out on a registered name. Gus is already running around and enjoying life and Maggie (Mommy) is doing well.

While not just anybody can touch the new colt.... Peter has already started the training process of bringing up anouther cutter that is respectful of humans and personal space... Gus is very attentive and seems to be in great health!!! Whoohoo... exciting times.

On another note: CALEB TURNED 4 on April 2nd. We had a great Pirate party for him on sunday and ... of course with a little inside info... the auntie gets the prize for his favorite present... a Darth Vador costume.

"The guys," our families sponsor cadets... Sutton and Alex were able to come celebrate with us and didn't mind even putting on the costumes....

But my favorite shot of the day is of Britton and my Nanny snuggling.

It feels like the engagement to Peter has flown by... we are going to have a wedding in 8 DAYS!!! I am looking forward to updating more regularly and hope to see all of you soon! New Horse Trailer

As most of you know... I have not been posting to the Amazing Grace site because I am only keeping up with the wedding blog at www.momentville.com/peterandamy ... however, a few things warrent a non wedding related post and this is one of them. Peter and I have invested in a horse trailer with living quarters!!! Whoohoo... This means no more hotels and expensive meals at every horse show... we can take our own food, drinks and sleep in the trailer. It is beautiful and very roomy. Peter will be taking his first trip in it this weekend, but with 24 days to the wedding I am unable to get away! I am excited about the shows this summer though! We opened a bottle of chapange on Saturday to christen the trailer and then shared the excitement with Britton on Monday when we picked him up. Even the Gige (my mom) said she'd would travel to the horse show now that we have a trailer.
